Georgian visitors spend the most in Italy

Outside the country, the monthly expenses of visitors from Georgia are reduced. 

According to SEB statistics, card transactions (with Georgian cards) in January total up to 794 million GEL (L/m – 896 million; 11/2025 – 897 million; 10/2025 – 912 million).

Georgians spent the most in Italy. Operations equivalent to 28.5 million GEL were performed with post terminals in the territory of the country. Italy is slightly behind France (₾27.8 million) and Spain (26.7 million). 

Germany is the leader in withdrawals, with a volume of more than 10 million GEL, cash withdrawal, 8,300 operations.

And Britain with e-commerce, 107 million GEL (equivalent in foreign currency) with more than 350,000 transactions. The USA is in II position (1.1 million operations of 80.4 million), the Netherlands is III with a case of 39.2 million GEL (156,000 purchases).
