Chinese tourism representatives are visiting Georgia within the framework of ITB China
The National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, within the framework of cooperation with China's largest tourism exhibition ITB China, held an introductory tour for Chinese tourism and media representatives.
During the visit, the representatives of major Chinese tourism companies met their Georgian colleagues in the B2B format. At the meeting with the representatives of the Georgian private sector, the issues of deepening cooperation and organizing joint tours in Georgia were discussed. The conversation touched on presenting Georgia with a special status at the ITB China exhibition planned in Shanghai, China, in May. Representatives of 20 Chinese companies and 40 Georgian companies attended the meeting.
"We hosted highly reputable Chinese companies in Georgia. About 20 Chinese buyers met with representatives of 40 companies in Georgia. As part of the tour, Chinese tour operators and media representatives visited old Tbilisi, Mtskheta and Mukhran. They got acquainted with culturally interesting places, tasted Georgian dishes and wine.

At ITB China 2026, 400 square meters will be dedicated to Georgia's promotional stand, where cultural performances, gastronomy and wine master classes and tastings will be held. About 70 Georgian companies will take part in the exhibition, presentations and workshops will be held.
