Poland partially closes its airspace until June 9, 2026

During the next three months, the airspace of the Republic of Poland will be partially closed. Information about this is reported by the media based on the press office of the Polish Aviation Agency.

Air traffic restrictions in the eastern part of Poland will be in effect from 03:00 on March 10, 2026 (Moscow time) and will last until 02:59 on June 9, 2026. The said decision was taken on the instructions of the Polish Armed Forces.

It is specified that these measures will not apply to those aircrafts that carry out passenger transportation. It is explained in the text that we are talking about the prohibition of flights, first of all, at a height that does not exceed 3 kilometers.

The restrictions, for which the exact reason for their imposition is not specified, will also not apply to military aircraft, civilian unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft belonging to the head of state, medical aviation boards and several other types of aircraft.
