Amendments were made to the Law on Creation and Management of Racha Protected Areas

In the third reading, Parliament considered and with 89 votes, unanimously supported the bill "On Amendments to the Law of Georgia on the Creation and Management of Rachi Protected Areas".

The issue was submitted for consideration by the Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Zurab Ezugbaya. The draft law envisages the creation of five nature monuments in the municipalities of Ambrolauri and Oni.

According to the speaker's explanation, part of the provisions were simplified and specified in the draft law.
